ILA Scotland is a Scottish Executive scheme that can help you pay for the cost of your learning.

If you are over 16 and living in Scotland, you may be eligible for up to £200 a year of ILA Scotland funding. If you earn £22,000 or less a year, or you are on benefits, you can apply for a £200 individual learning account to put towards a wide range of approved courses.

The money is not a loan, so you don't have to pay it back.

Although standard full-time courses in universities and colleges are not eligible for ILA Scotland funding, you'll find that there are a wide range of part-time courses to choose from.  At HTC you may choose from the Access to Theological Studies course, BA (Hons) Theological Studies modules, European Computer Driving Licence and other leisure classes.  If studying part-time at HE level you may be entitled to a £500 ILA.
