Highland Theological College UHI (HTC) is offering the D.Min degree in partnership with Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in the USA. The Doctor of Ministry degree course is designed to increase the effectiveness of ministers and other full-time Christian workers. It is built upon solid biblical and theological foundations and is designed to be flexible enough to meet individual needs. Applicants must have a university degree in theology or the academic equivalent. The degree must include the study of at least one biblical language (Hebrew or Greek). Applicants must also have been engaged in a recognised form of full-time professional ministry for at least three years. The Doctor of Ministry degree is normally taken over a three year period. Students must take at least one module in each academic year and there is a maximum of six years permitted for the completion of the degree. Students must take eight modules, at least three of which must be taken in the USA, at RTS. This is followed by a major project, resulting in a significant dissertation. This work must be closely related to the ministry of the student. |
