ILA Scotland is a Scottish Executive scheme that can help you pay for the cost of your learning.

If you are over 18 and living in Scotland, you may be eligible for up to £500 a year of ILA Scotland funding. If you earn £22,000 or less a year, or you are on benefits, and are studying part-time, you can apply for a £500 individual learning account to put towards a wide range of approved courses.

The money is not a loan, so you don't have to pay it back. You just need to contribute at least £10 for each course that you take using your ILA Scotland account.

To find out more, call the ILA Scotland helpline free on 0808 100 1090 or visit www.ilascotland.org.uk
